veloffee Cycle Adventures in Thailand
There are 3 seasons in Thailand
The language spoken is Thai although English is readily spoken, especially in the larger hotels and resorts and restaurants. The local currency is the Thai Bhat. Credit and debit cards are readily taken in most city shops but not in local shops where cash is king. The water in the larger town and cities is most;y drinkable but we woudl recommend always drinking bottles water. If you have ice cubes in your drinks, make sure they are out of a bag and not frozen locally, by the bar.
For tourists from the European Union, no visa is required for a stays of less than 30 days. A passport valid for six months when entering Thailand is enough. For more information please contact your local Thai embassy before booking. For more foreign travel advice, please see the UK Government website.
Please see the NHS website for information regarding vaccinations and always consult your doctor or pharmacist for advise.
